Michael Fazal is a freelance multi-disciplinary Art Director, Visual Designer, UX Designer, Illustrator and Educator based in Toronto, Canada. Throughout his career, he has worked with numerous global brands, small businesses, start-ups and creative agencies both as a lead and as part of a team. Michael also instructs the first-year course ‘Visual Interaction Design’ at York University in Toronto. Michael has a keen interest in working with clients who value social responsibility and projects geared towards using technology to support social justice, including: education, healthcare, labour rights, LGBTQI+ rights, racial justice, mental health and community empowerment.
Outside of design you can find Michael binge watching Netflix, playing Dungeons and Dragons, training his rescue @Lincolntheejindo, cooking something tasty, playing video games or reading comic books.
